It's the end of term break. :( This is SO NOT good. Hate studying. == ok, fine. Who doesn't? It's one the things we have to go through in life. Test, assignment, grrrr.
And I don't regret studying Engineering anymore! :) Pastor was right. Everyone have a dream. And we have to risk something to make it come true rather than waiting around for it to happen! I see His plans slowly unveiling for me. He took me here for a reason. I risked everything (family,friends,food,my comfort zone) coming here because I dreamed of becoming an engineer before. I did! And a musician. :) With His blessings, I can do both! And I will not let anybody down. I'll have to work harder. I'll have to live by faith too. Update : I'm officially involved in StudentLife's praise and worship team. Yazzam!!! :D Serving christ and others with my sisters and brothers of Christ. Great. But don't expect me to preach yet? haha. Kidding.

Term break for three weeks. What shall I do with these three weeks of FREEDOM? HAHA. Shop, sleep, eat, play, study and of course building my faith!!!! XD
Anyway, update update UPDATE.
I saw this blog layout and thought....... It's AWESOMEEEEEEE. :D geee.
Last weekend I went to Mt Hutt for StudentLife's Autumn Retreat. ;)
It was drizzling when we were on the way there. Yes. sheeeeeep! :O

I think I look more natural when I pose wackyly. seriously. ;p
AND GUESS WHAT?! I think glorifying god is by far the best thing I ever did. Praise Lord! A meaningful thing after being a christian that is. I feel so inspired to serve god now. It takes patience, time, ...... ;)
and i think the sermon at the retreat HIT me. The verse is in Mark 10:35-45
10:35 Then James and John, the sons of Zebedee, came to him and said, “Teacher, we want you to do for us whatever we ask.” 10:36 He said to them, “What do you want me to do for you?” 10:37 They said to him, “Permit one of us to sit at your right hand and the other at your left in your glory.”10:38 But Jesus said to them, “You don’t know what you are asking! Are you able to drink the cup I drink or be baptized with the baptism I experience?”10:39 They said to him, “We are able.” Then Jesus said to them, “You will drink the cup I drink, and you will be baptized with the baptism I experience, 10:40 but to sit at my right or at my left is not mine to give. It is for those for whom it has been prepared.”
10:41 Now when the other ten heard this, they became angry with James and John.10:42 Jesus called them and said to them, “You know that those who are recognized as rulers of the Gentiles lord it over them, and those in high positions use their authority over them. 10:43 But it is not this way among you. Instead whoever wants to be great among you must be your servant, 10:44 and whoever wants to be first among you must be the slave of all. 10:45 For even the Son of Man did not come to be served but to serve, and to give his life as a ransom for many.”
Serving others. To serve. We must dedicate our lives to serve others. Like what Jesus(Lord's only son) did to clean our sins by gaving up his life. I will try not to lose our temper easily. ;D James and John. Jesus was to crucified soon and yet they demand for rewards. ;( Serving others is like from the heart not with intentions. What are we,mere humans,asking such a big favor from the Son of God? ;( stuuuuu.

The Secret One day, one friend asked another, 'How is it that you are always so happy?
You have so much energy,
and you never seem to get down.'
With her eyes smiling, she said, 'I know the Secret!'
'What secret is that?'
To which she replied,
'I'll tell you all about it,
but you have to promise to
share the Secret with others.'
The Secret is this: I have learned there is little I can do in my life that will make me truly happy. I must depend on God to make me happy and to meet my needs. When a need arises in my life, I have to trust God to supply according to HIS riches. I have learned most of the time I don't need half of what I think I do. He has never let me down. Since I learned that 'Secret', I am happy.'
The questioner's first thought was, 'That's too simple!' But upon reflecting over her own life she recalled how she thought a bigger house would make her happy, but it didn't! She thought a better paying job would make her happy, but it hadn't. When did she realize her greatest happiness? Sitting on the floor with her grandchildren, playing games, eating pizza or reading a story, a simple gift from God.
Now you know it too! We can't depend on people to make us happy. Only GOD in His infinite wisdom can do that. Trust HIM! And now I pass the Secret on to you! So once you get it, what will you do?
YOU have to tell someone the Secret, too! That GOD in His wisdom will take care of YOU! But it's not really a secret.... We just have to believe it and do it... Really trust God!
